A Bit About Therapy
I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
Services I Offer
Your well-being is my ultimate concern. I provide a wide range of mindful psychological counseling. My therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your inner confidence, and assist you in healing from anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Individual Therapy
Through Mindfulness-based Interventions I bring compassion and expertise that comes from years of experience in addressing life’s emotional challenges. My Individual Therapeutic sessions help patients heal from their past and develop positive attitudes towards life’s most challenging circumstances.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR Therapy is a highly effective psychotherapy technique used for treatment of anxiety, panic, depression, and post-traumatic stress. With extensive knowledge regarding healing relationships, substance abuse, and symptoms of trauma, I guide my patients every step of the way, implementing methods to help them develop new attitudes towards life’s most complex matters.

My primary goal as a relational psychotherapist is to provide my clients with insight and practical feedback to help address life’s current challenges and long-standing personal issues. With compassion and understanding, my work focuses on helping individuals find resolution for a wide range of intimate and psychological concerns.
With a deeply respectful approach that includes psycho-education and humor, I guide individuals and couples through personal discovery and challenging transitions. To help facilitate this work, I draw from a variety of methodologies that incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. These include EMDR, EFT, Positive Psychology, Resilience Models, Psychodynamic, Attachment and Somatic Experiencing.
A Southern California native, I grew up in a large, extended Jewish family. After graduating from UCLA with a BA in Psychology, I attended USC and received an MBA that launched me into a rewarding career in marketing. During the past decade, I had the privilege of caring for my parents and being present during my Mom’s final years with Parkinson’s and dementia. This tender time reignited my desire to return to the study of psychology, earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
My husband and I share a culturally mixed blended family. We enjoy spending time with our family, all types of food, creating art, and travel.
I am a Marriage & Family Therapist with an approach that will:
Encourage you
Validate you
Challenge you
Teach you
Inspire you

I believe healing happens when you engage in healing things and therapy is a healing act. As a psychotherapist, my purpose is to aid in the process of reconnecting you with your authentic self and your inherent value through grace, compassion and honesty.
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to see yourself and the world clearly when dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, complex trauma and substance use. I believe I can guide you and create space between you and these symptoms so you can feel safe, connected and increase your capacity to experience all of life.
I received my BA in psychology, but it was not until after the loss of a family member due to substance use and mental health issues and lack of therapeutic support, did I pursue psychotherapy fully. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Palo Alto University and am currently employed at a treatment center focused on serving the LGBTQA community where I provide support to individuals for mental health, substance use, and eating disorders diagnosis.
Additionally, I have experience in community mental health and school settings, working with elementary, middle and high school students and their families. As a certified trauma therapist, I incorporate modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), polyvagal theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and existential theory into my practice. In private practice I work with tweens, teens and adults.
